My business model of ‘Mobile Bike Mechanic’ makes Denton Cycles perfect for supplying bike workshop services for your fleet bikes or event solutions such as Dr Bike and training, in the Northumberland, Newcastle, Durham and Gateshead areas.
Working in partnership with Denton Cycles will mean that your bikes have minimal downtime, there is no need to arrange transport and there are no more multiple trips to and from a bike shop.
I deliver on site servicing, on site events and on site training, with competitively priced solutions, reducing your costs and lost time for you and your organisation.

I’ve worked with the following organisations and communities to deliver a range of bike related solutions. These include Dr Bike events, Maintenance Training and the Service & Repair of Fleet Bikes, Bikeability bikes and bikes used by the Community.
Northumberland County Council
I’ve worked across locations in Hexham, Morpeth, Blyth and Seaton Sluice, delivering a range of bike solutions. Bike building over 40 fleet bikes to be distributed to projects across the county. Delivering Dr Bike sessions during Council drop-in meetings, and repair & servicing work to Council bikes used in the community.
Cramlington Village Primary School
Fleet bike servicing – the primary school has a range of Squish bikes and balance bikes, used for pupil’s Bikeability sessions.
Greening Wingrove The Bike Garden
Delivering ‘Learn to Fix‘ events to the local community. Funded by Cycling UK – The Big Bike Revival.
AkzoNobel
Delivering a group based Basic Maintenance class, part of a week of AkzoNobel ‘Wellbeing’ activities, encouraging active travel and commuting.
Gibside School
Bike health checks and servicing on a varied range of bikes, from balance bikes through to teens.
South Tyneside Council
Engaging with children in care who have an interest in bikes. My mobile solution was important, enabling me to deliver classes in the children’s own environment, a space they were comfortable in.
WATBike Cycling Services
WATBike called on my bike refurbishment experience to create a refurbishment guide reference document for their volunteer mechanics, and to deliver training sessions to them covering the bike refurbishment process.
